thinking very hard about hans screaming at the cumans while being tied up and AFTER he’s been beaten to hell and back and his dogs killed right in front of him. he has probably had the thought, as they tied him to the tree, that he might be killed also. he certainty had no reason to expect henry would rescue him. in my game I always wait for the cumans to sleep and then sneak hans out of the camp. so hans is there for hours until it’s dark before he’s rescued, and he’s screaming literally the whole time insults and filth at the cumans who do not acknowledge him or give him anything at all and he DOESNT STOP!!! he just keeps shouting. there is some insane stubbornness there and I think courage also, he’s not sure whether he’s going to live or die so he’s going to just go out yelling. it’s crazy that just an hour before in game you watch him talk down to henry and throw a punch at him, and order Henry around, and act annoying and now he’s calling armed and armored cumans sister fuckers and insulting their mothers lol. Hans is insane but henry is more insane for seeing this display and immediately without warning falling head over heels in love
