Lily still wasn’t certain if this was a good idea. All the stuff she’d scavenged from the flood and the debris was piling up in her half of the treehouse, waiting to be sifted through. Well.. most of it. There was one person whose stuff she’d recovered and gone through first.

The gun she’d turned over to the trio to be destroyed, even though there hadn’t been any ammunition. 1970s guerrilla weapons were much more powerful than whatever rifles Kotka had found at the train. The rest she’d kept. Some of which she had with her now, as she went up to the Georges’ home.

Formerly Theo’s home, though she supposed that it had been Jovi’s first, pre-Beast. The doorway was open, but Lily stayed at the threshold, knocking on the frame and calling inside.

“Jupiter? Hi, hi, it’s Lily! Is this a good time?” She hadn’t exactly asked ahead before showing up unannounced, but hopefully Jupiter would be okay with it regardless. “Do you have some time to chat?”
