Alrighty first off, yanfei probably had to quickly learn to expect almost everything unexpected from hu tao, okay. Hu tao doesn't know societal expectations, or subtlety for that matter, to save her life . If it's raining, expect that hu tao's gonna jump in all the puddles , and probably catch a cold in the process. Hu tao would never do something too dangerous, or anything particularly harmful towards anybody, she's just more focused on having fun than being rational sometimes.

On that note, once yanfei is used to hu tao's usual antics, I honestly think she might join in on some of them, within reason. Yanfei is definitely held to a really high standard of behavior being the 'top legal advisor in liyue' and I think she'd probably come to appreciate being able to just be a bit silly around hu tao. That said, she still has a standard to uphold, so she mostly joins in hu tao's shenanigans when they aren't in public.

Let me tell you, these two are an absolute power couple too, okay. If hu tao needs help with anything law related,yanfei's got her. One of yanfei's clients starts getting a little too rude? Well what a convenient time for hu tao to come in and pull one of her signature pranks !(Within the confines of the law of course) . It becomes clear quite quickly among liyue that messing with either of them is generally a bad idea for you lmao.

By the way, hu tao is the cheesiest romantic ever. She's writing yanfei love poems at least once a week, and pulling pickup lines so cliche it almost hurts. Butttt yanfei loves it anyway , although she can't help but tease hu tao a bit for being so corny.

One trait both of them share however, is being clingy AF. We're talking mandated cuddle sessions, constant handholding, all the works. These too are together all .the .time. except for at work, of course, but even then they'll take any excuse to go pay each other a quick visit. Poor zhongli is probably gonna need a raise man

Myki focused on drawing the drapes through the penthouse. The huge space echoed her footsteps, dragging the noise and time with the seemingly endless number of drapes to close. Once she was done she grabbed the cups she and Mandy had used earlier, making her way to the kitchen to load the dishwasher and grab a drink. 

But when she opened the fridge, picking up the brita filter, Myki's eyes landing on the small plate on the otherwise-empty bottom shelf, and her heart thumped, swelling against her ribs. 

A tiny, perfectly circular patisserie cake, layered chocolate with a mirror glaze and topped with a vibrant cherry, sat on one of the china plates next to a note with her name in Nini's flowing script. Myki took it out, something radiant glowing in her chest. 

It tasted incredible, so decadent and sweet and fresh, that one morsel turned into another bite and another, and before long it had gone, leaving Myki with her eyes closed, leaning luxuriantly against the kitchen island, a delighted giggle bubbling in her throat.

Her attention turned to the note, hand shaking as she unfolded the first half.

‘Thanks for your chat today, for giving me the courage to talk to the woman I like <3’

Myki put her hand to her thumping chest. Nini’s face swam before her eyes again, the flush dusting her cheeks from their conversation lingering like a dream.

Then Myki unfolded the bottom part. 

‘Myki, would you like to come to Petit Cafe with me next Saturday? N <3’

Her knees went weak. 

Nini wanted to ask me out? Me?

It was like her dream had come true. A date with the woman who had been planning and cooking her food for the last year, who had somehow baked her way to Myki's soul through her stomach.

Then her mind drifted back to the formality of her promise that same evening. The promise to get … close to Juicy for the promos.

Dawn tumbled to the ground for the fourth time, and immediately all four dogs swarmed excitedly around her.

“God, not again.”

Really, Dawn could think of worse places to be than caught in a frenzy of bounces and happily-wagging tails. Volunteering at the shelter wasn't so bad.

“Dawn?”

Oh. Crystal saw.

Dawn willed the ground to open.

But Crystal and her dogs rushed over. Brown eyes twinkling mischievously, she tugged Dawn upright.

“Were they walking you?”

Heat rose up Dawn's neck. “No!”

She thinks I can't even walk dogs -

“C'mon.” Crystal offered her arm. “I'll protect you!”

“You left your bra in my car again.”

Nini's forced nonchalance melted to plain elation at Myki's reaction; her piercing gaze and dazzling smile withering Nini's insides.

“Actually, you left it there, Nini. I didn't take it off.”

Myki's voice, low and throaty and soaked in memories, sent shivers through Nini, a giddy laugh bubbling up.

“If we're getting into semantics, Myki, I undid the clasp and pulled down the straps -"

“With your teeth!”

“- but you removed it. So, you left it there.”

Myki smirked, playfully batting her eyelashes. “Okay. I won't remove it again, then.”

“In a century, I'll be dead. Forgotten in two. And eventually, Earth will get swallowed by the Sun.”

Fontana frowned. “So?”

“So it's all meaningless,” Kate said earnestly. “Life should be enjoyed.”

“Okay!” Fontana smiled. “So you do want ice cream?”
