Jimin and Jungkook’s Wlive was fairly short, and they did not go into much detail about anything in particular. But even so, what little they did share was more than enough to make one thing crystal clear: enlisting together meant a lot to both of them. Right from the start, when it was just the two of them talking, you could feel how strong their bond is. At first, it was Jungkook who seemed to be lifting Jimin’s spirits and helping him through the early days. But over time, that shifted, and it was Jimin who ended up encouraging Jungkook. That change in dynamic says a lot on its own. It shows that the support between them has never been one-sided. It goes both ways. It always has.

You can see it in the little things, like Jimin wanting to help Jungkook out in the kitchen or Jungkook making sure Jimin had food that was already prepared, so he would not have to worry about it. Those small gestures show just how much they were looking out for each other. There is something incredibly genuine about the way they care. You can tell that they are each other’s biggest source of strength. They do not see the others’ efforts as something minor or meaningless. Even if it might seem small to others, it is never small to them. It is a reflection of the other’s strength and the amount of heart they put into everything they do.

And honestly, do you realise how rare that is? I am not even considering the possibility of them having a romantic relationship. That is not the point. I am speaking from the point of view of one human being finding another who is truly, unconditionally by their side. Someone who supports you, encourages you and believes in you no matter what. Someone who always sees the best in you, who is proud of who you are and everything you accomplish. That kind of connection is incredibly hard to come by. People like that are rare. Jimin and Jungkook are almost like an exception to the way things usually go. In this world, where everyone is so busy and distant, the fact that they are still this close, this in sync, is almost unbelievable. They are incredibly close, incredibly tuned in to one another, and also incredibly proud of each other.

We have talked a lot about how close they are already, but somehow, going through this experience together made them even closer. I know it sounds obvious. You might think, of course, it brought them closer, how could it not? But was it really that obvious? I have been thinking about that quite a bit. They did not go through this alone. They trained and lived with other soldiers. They made friends, shared struggles and built memories together with people who also understood what they were going through. And I am sure those bonds are meaningful. I am sure those moments were special in their own way. But there is something about Jimin and Jungkook that goes beyond that. Maybe I am overthinking it, and maybe it is just natural for people who have known each other for over a decade to grow even closer after going through something like this. But even so, actually seeing how true that is makes it feel even more remarkable.

During that Wlive, it was obvious how connected they are. The way they spoke, the way they glanced at each other, the way one would pick up where the other left off. It felt familiar, like something we had seen before, but at the same time, it felt different. Maybe the connection is even deeper now. Maybe it has grown stronger. I would really love to see them again in another Wlive or some other kind of video, just to see if that feeling is still there. But if you ask me, they came back changed. That much is clear. And yes, I know that sounds obvious too, but I still feel like it is worth saying.
