“Are you good at keeping secrets, Champion?” Four asked, coalescing into the present moment.  Wild shrugged. “Depends on the secret,” he admitted. “I try not to keep too many, though. It's hard to keep track of things.” Four hummed: not ignoring Wild’s answer, but not responding to it, either.  “How about you? Are you good at keeping secrets?” The corner of Four’s mouth twitched. He curled his lips upward, but he would hesitate to call it a grin. “Yeah, I’m alright.”

if i were never going to let them see the light of day, i'd never admit to it lmao. i guess: here's a snippet of a fic i kinda ran into a dead end with. maybe if you speculate enough in the replies I'll pick it up again haha
