Ingredients: 8 large shrimp, peeled and deveined. 4 sausage links, sliced into 1-inch pieces. 1 red bell pepper, cut into chunks. 1 yellow bell pepper, cut into chunks. 1 red onion, cut into chunks. 8 cherry tomatoes. 1/4 cup olive oil. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 tablespoon lemon juice. 1 teaspoon paprika. 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper adjust to taste. Salt and pepper to taste. Wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes.
Instructions: To make the marinade, mix olive oil, lemon juice, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper in a bowl with a whisk. Put the sausage and shrimp pieces in a shallow dish or a plastic bag that can be closed again. Toss them to coat them with the marinade. Put the dish or bag in the fridge for at least 30 minutes with the lid on or sealed. Warm up the grill over medium-high heat. Using skewers that have been soaked in water, alternate the marinated shrimp, sausage slices, bell peppers, red onion chunks, and cherry tomatoes. Put the kabobs on the grill and oil the grates. The shrimp should turn pink after about two to three minutes on each side, and the sausage should be cooked all the way through with a nice char.
