The flavors of white wine, garlic, and fragrant herbs are mixed into this roast chicken recipe to make a tender and juicy dish that's great for any event.
Ingredients: 1 whole chicken about 4 pounds. 1/2 cup white wine. 4 cloves garlic, minced. 2 tablespoons olive oil. 2 teaspoons dried thyme. 2 teaspoons dried rosemary. Salt and black pepper to taste.
Instructions: Warm the oven up to 190C 375F. Add olive oil, dried thyme, dried rosemary, salt, and black pepper to a small bowl. Then add white wine and mix them together. Use paper towels to dry the chicken, then put it in a roasting pan. Make sure to cover the chicken evenly with the wine mixture as you rub it on. The chicken should be roasted in an oven that has already been heated for about an hour and a half, or until a meat thermometer reads 165F 75C inside. After the chicken is done, take it out of the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes. Finally, cut it into pieces. Serve the roast chicken with any juices that have built up in the pan. Have fun!
