Get your skin #NYE ready with @juaraskincare
New years is only two days away (how did that happen?) and everyone wants to know how to get their skin glowing for 2015. A lot of beauty editors and bloggers have been recommending Juara Skincare and now I see why they are.  These have to be some of the best skincare products I have tried this year. (While the lovely Nadia at Juara sent them to me complimentary all opinions are my own.) I want to take this opportunity to thank them for letting me try their products. Have you tried them or are thinking of trying them? What beauty /skin care product did you fall in love with this year? I would love to read your thoughts below or tweet them to me @princesslondn . And kindly follow me on here and on Twitter if you like my posts.
Rice Facial Cleanser - The feel of this is amazing, I felt like I was rubbing silk on my skin. However, it did take a little too much effort to remove a light layer of BB cream. While I cannot exactly pinpoint the smell, the fact that it did not irritate my skin was a major bonus in my book.  It also gets props for leaving my skin feeling soft and refreshed. I would recommend this cleanser to someone with sensitive skin.
Tamarind Tea Hydrating Toner – I used this right after the cleanser but it did not impress me as much as the cleanser did. For starters, it did not make my skin feel any different from when I took it out of the routine. It wasn’t a hit or miss, I just felt like it was pointless with this cleanser the smell was also overpowering. I ended up replacing it with rosewater as a toner and that combined with the cleanser made my skin feel fresh for the first time in months.
Clove Flower & Turmeric Anti-Aging Serum – Most skincare experts will recommend you use a serum under moisturizer to help it sink in faster. However, when it comes to this one I felt no difference with the moisturizer. It made my skin feel sticky when I used it alone than when I mixed it with the moisturizer I felt no difference. ( I got a few packets of this that lasted for about a month when used once a day. Each packet has about four uses.)
Sweet Black Tea Eye Crème – This has to be one of the most emollient and luxe feeling, eye creams I have ever tried. It felt very soft and soothing on my eyes. In addition, the smell transports me to a spa. (I got a few packets of this that lasted for about a month and a half, when I used it once a week. Each packet has about four applications. I squeezed them all out in to a jar so I got more use out of them. )
Sweet Black Tea & Rice Facial Moisturizer – Very rarely do I put items on my HG ( holy grail) list but this went on there after one use. I was experiencing a dry patch on my forehead the first time I used it and it literally instantly calmed down. I wish I could send you all a bottle just so you can see how amazing this is. Juara recommends using it as a tinted moisturizer and they are not lying when they say it will up your foundation game. Mix your foundation with some of this and apply with a beauty blender for photo-shoot ready skin.
Candlenut Body Crème-  The only gripe I have about this product is that it comes in a jar. Besides for that it smells & feels amazing on the skin.
Candlenut Body Polish- I am an exfoliator addict I literally brought 3 jars of a certain brands exfoliator once when I was abroad because I was scared of not being able to find it. And I would do the same with this one. It is thick and has these light grains in it that makes it feel super exfoliating. And unlike many exfoliators it didn’t irritate my skin. The only thing I disliked is that it came in a jar.  ?
