Say what you will of Syndra - the woman was brutal, but she was fairly clean in her brutality. The lifeless bodies around her certainly did not look to have died a pleasant death, but the mess she created of them was eerily organized.
She managed to keep her attire surprisingly clean of blood despite the circumstances, using a handkerchief she retrieved from her blazers pocket to wipe a spot that managed to find itself on her cheek. Lavender eyes counted the bodies, it seemed the intended targets were all accounted for. A smaller mafia that had began to form and felt themselves brave enough to touch something that was hers, they certainly did not last long.
What was odd, however, was she still heard a presence lurking behind her that was not one of her own men. She spun to face the area and a gloved hand raised a gun towards where she had heard another presence, tempted to be done with it and shoot on the spot. "Come out." She demanded, her tone impatient.
There's something about this woman that draws Akali to her. That 'something' being the violence she involves herself in, leaving bodies upon bodies around her. This person is brutal, deadly, efficient. The beast within the rapper practically wants to claw itself out, urging her to join in and revel in the carnage. To show this stranger that she is not alone in her ferocity. But no—she needs to get a hold of herself. The blood in the air is messing with her.
However, it seems the choice was made for Akali in the form of a gun glinting as it's raised against where she's hiding. Well, shit. The sudden surprise is enough to temporarily snap her out of the hunger. She got too curious this time, it would seem.
She steps out of the shadows slowly, hands in the air. Careful, but not one to tremble in the face of danger. Danger's her middle name. Or reckless, more like. "I'm out." The rapper says back. “Got no weapons on me.” That the other could see, anyway. There is a brief struggle to keep her expression neutral, only realizing a second later to close her eyes in an effort to hide the way they glow.
"I'm not one of... whatever they were. I was just passing by. Wanted to see what was going on." Only half a lie.
