I know you’re a cat person but I’m curious. What’s your opinion on other types of pets, like dogs, birds, lizards, and ferrets?
I like snakes best, after cats. They're graceful, beautiful, and make wonderful and sometimes deadly jewelry.
Dogs are all very well, though they require rather more attention than I am often able to give.
Birds, it depends on the type. As pets, I'm fond of pigeons, ravens, and crows. Firebirds are rare, but would be quite interesting.
Lizards also depend highly on the type. I know less about them, as I've never had one. Hypothetically I suppose I'm not opposed.
Ferrets are quite sweet, they can get along quite well with cats. One of my cats, my Midnight, raised two baby ferrets as her own when she had her kittens. It took me several days to realize there were two kittens fewer than I'd initially thought.
