having crushes on people older than you is fine but kids aren't stupid, we know that it's not ok to act on it. I've had crushes on teachers, in 8th grade I had a crush on my English teacher and even though I liked her, I didn't think about acting on it, I knew it wasn't ok and if she ever did anything I would need to tell someone that my 25-or-something year old teacher had done something that she shouldn't have and just because I was 13 didn't mean I didn't know that. Jonah having a possible crush on Bowie isn't the problem it's the idea that he would act on it is the problem. Jonah would understand that he shouldn't act upon his supposed crush on his ex girlfriend's 30-or-something year old father

I am making this post for my own sanity.

Some people are saying that I ship Jowie or I am defending it. I am not. NEVER have I ever shipped it nor will I ever. In fact, you cant find a single post about it because I think it is one of the stupidest crack ships.

Josh made a post that was clearly a joke and someone @ed a person who had made a hc earlier about Jonah having an unrequited crush on Bowie. The hc in question had been positively received when first posted.

This is my response to the person on Josh's post below:

Thats it. All I did was point out that the trope that the head canon used was a common one in media, and it wasnt shocking that someone would think Andi Mack might use the trope, even if I didnt neccesarliy agree with the head canon in question.

Nowhere did I EVER state that I shipped or supported Jowie. Nowhere did I defend the actual shipping of the characters. Nowhere did I ever say that this was an okay consensual relationship.

Perhaps I should have phrased my response better and made it clearer that I was responding to the unrequited crush hc that the original post was stating is a common media trope that is used be many shows and movies over the years. Not to the actual shipping of the characters.
