On Friday morning I had a knock on my door it was my postman holding out a parcel from @cultpens it was my new @conklinpens_official Fountain Pen The Sonora pacifically made for them, this is the first numbered pen I've ever had, it's also got the first broad nib I've ever used and like all Conklin and @yafabrands_official fountain pens they are a joy to use. A couple of weeks ago someone noted that I like both Conklin and Monteverde fountain pens and I clearly remember saying to them that I am a big fan of @yafabrands_official in general as they not only sell their pens at an affordable prices, but they never let me down, right out of the box it felt very comfortable, no matter what nib I've chosen they ALL write beautifully and again it doesn't seem to matter about what sort of paper I'm using. This time I teamed it with @privatereserveink.official Shoreline Gold and again a perfect match in my books... Hello beautiful people I have finally managed to complete two of what I am calling the ultimate notepad which will include a mixture of assorted papers ranging from 300gsm watercolour paper, 120gsm vellum paper and and 160gsm fountain pen friendly paper. It will also have on the front cover a clipboard clip and on the back cover a couple of pen/paintbrush slots. There will be two sizes available, a small one, measuring approximately 22.5 x 11cm handy enough to carry around and a large approximately 23 x 16cm (roughly A5 size).
