for a late juesday treat, some general jongler/reader headcanons... too lazy to format this nicely right now
i keep coming back to "sweets" as a petname they'd use! they'd just throw it in casually one day to gauge your reaction...
they're so good at hugging and cuddling. they wanna hold you and make you feel safe, even if it's just in mundane life... they'll protect you from the cold and from lonely feelings
they're so strong! they'll let you sit on their shoulder or hold you under their arm if you really wanna
it's easier for them to be big spoon, but they'll be little spoon too! they like to feel held and cozy every once in a while
more personal headcanon: they feel most valuable as a partner when they can be useful in some way, even small ways! in situations where they don't have much power to help, they still try their best to encourage you and make you feel better.
^ they don't always notice or fully register non-verbal displays of affection (to their chagrin), so they feel most loved when you spell it out for them
they're flustered most easily when it comes to physical affection, specifically when they're not the one instigating it—do something as simple as slide your hand into theirs, and they'll melt (even if it's not obvious on their face)
westerns are their favorite, but they shamelessly love many genres of movie! you can curl up with them and watch something silly...
they can't kiss, but they will press their face to yours and go "mwah mwah". it's cheesy but god it's so cute
if you're unaware of the mike scheme (i'm a huge sucker for this concept), they'd probably get yelled at once or twice by battat about how big a risk mike being romantically involved could be (don't be a hater. let them love...)
^ they'd probably linger around you out of costume, but be too scared to actually approach you out of fear of blowing their cover
they're not the most emotionally intelligent, but they do understand things better than they give themself credit for. they might miss the mark sometimes, but they still care so much and want nothing more than to help you feel better. if all else fails, they'll be there if you need a shoulder to cry on, even if they don't fully get it
their bad memory is a slightly sore spot for them, so please lend them some extra patience in that regard... they try their best not to make it a problem, but things will inevitably slip through the cracks. they do care, they promise
^ if they had more control over it, they wouldn't want to forget a single thing about you. someone as important as you in their eyes deserves to be remembered and cherished... maybe they'd keep a note filled with all the things, no matter how little, that they decided they want to keep within reach
