Baekhyun: i've been feeling sick lately

Jongdae: mabye you should see a doctor

I’ve honestly tried researching what their sleeping habits were but from what I read, only a few of them have sleeping habits whilst the rest slept peacefully. Regardless, enjoy! :)

Baekhyun

Baekhyun is a terrible person to sleep with. Not only does he mumble in his sleep, which was a constant buzz kill especially since you were a light sleeper, but he moves around a lot. God knows how many times you’ve woken up with his body turned the other way, his legs resting on your tummy. So when your cute little 3-year-old climbed into your bed, your poor husband, who was already halfway off the bed, actually fell to the ground. He would wake up, feeling disgruntled and you silently praised your child for avenging you.

Chanyeol

Chanyeol was another one. It was bad enough that he moved around in his sleep but his limbs were not only long, they were heavy as well. You would always find yourself forcefully removing his heavy arm from your face because you could not breathe. When your precious child went up and squeeze beside you, you had to make sure that your child’s small bolster was there to separate the child from the father because god knows what would happen if his arm was there to lay on your child. You had already warned him with an “I believe in you,” to which he grinned lazily and replied you with a kiss. Even then, you were not safe from his bear hug but at least your child was fine, somehow.

Chen

Chen is a peaceful sleeper and for that, you constantly found yourself thanking the heavens because you heard the stories told by the other members’ significant others. What more was the fact that he was a singer and a great one at that too? So when your child climbed up to sleep between both parents, scared because of a nightmare he had, you smiled tenderly when Chen started to sing one of his favourite songs. His voice became a lullaby for the both of you and you were swept by his melodious tune and into a dream full of possibilities.

D.O

D.O was similar to Chen, where he was one who would rarely move under his blanket. If anything, you were the one who was the clingy one, often wrapping your limbs around his, not that he minded of course. When your child came to your room and climbed on your bed, you sat up to ask what was wrong. It was too early for such a young kid to be woken up from his sleep. Your child then narrated his dream about him losing all his teeth, to which scared him, and you found yourself laughing. D.O merely chuckled and made space for the girl and that was one of the times that you’d witness the D.O that you loved: where he would card her hair with his fingers, humming to a song that you didn’t quite know but it warmed your heart regardless.

Kai

Kai being a dancer had its perks. Not only did it come with a few advantages here and there, things behind closed doors for example, but it was great that you were with a person who was fully aware of his body movements. That is to say, if only that was true when he was asleep as well. For the life of you, Kai was a dancer through and through, even when he was asleep. This produced a few black and blues to form on your skin at some nights. Being the sweetheart that he was, he would always apologise the next day. So when your child came to sleep in between the both of you, Kai had the senses to sleep on the ground where he had all the space in the world to dance in his sleep, without hurting his precious baby. (If only he had that same sentiment for you too.)

Lay

Lay was an angel in his past life, which was why he is an angel in his sleep too, where only the subconscious reign. He would be the one to cradle you in his arms as you sleep, providing that additional protection from everything bad. When he was by your side, your dreams were splendid. That being said, when your child had climbed up, claiming that he had a bad dream about his pet bunny chasing him, you were left awed at how easy Lay picked him up and settle him in between the both of you. Once his arms were around your child, you watched as your child stopped his sniffles almost immediately before closing his eyes to fall back to sleep. Once again, you were right to have a husband that had the angel’s touch.

Sehun

Sehun was a cool person, that much we know. It even transcends into his subconscious where he sculpted face would be very much untouched, his face retained all the glory that the Gods have bestowed on him. So when your child went climbing up on your bed, he didn’t even faze. All he did was pat your child lovingly on the head, albeit rather lazily too, before going to sleep. What did I tell you? He’s too much of a cool person.

Suho

Suho as much as he tries to be all proper, once he hits the bed, he fully embodied the term ‘father’ in his group. God have mercy on you but he would almost, always snore and it wasn’t those cute spoofs of air either. It was those that roared from the tummy to rumble the air so that it lets everybody know of its presence. So when your child came to the bed to sleep beside you, you heard his snore sputter for a moment as he registered his child sleeping next to the both of you before it continues again. Your child looked at you, pouting because he wasn’t able to sleep but you nodded, silently thanking your child for knowing how hard it was to sleep beside this man that you loved. Regardless, you pat your child’s bottom until he fell to sleep. If only there was somebody else who would do the same to you.

Xiumin

Xiumin, despite being the oldest, didn’t have any oldie tendencies (unlike Suho). He was as much as a peaceful sleeper as DO and Lay. He would stay still under his warm blanket, only moving a few times to satisfy an itch here and there. It’s safe to say that Xiumin was a very deep sleeper. When your child came up because she just wanted to be next to her parents for the night, you watched as Xiumin woke up, still drunk with sleep, tucked her in before going back to his dreamland. If that didn’t warm your heart, you didn’t know what will.
