Before all of this, Eddie had known, in passing, who Jonathan Byers was. He was a freak, too, an outcast like Eddie and his friends, just not with the same niche interests, and so they had never rolled in the same crowds. There was a silent respect there, on Eddie’s side, for what Jonathan endured as someone on the fringes of high school society, Hawkins society. Leave it to fate to drag the freaks back together with a little mix of... well, whatever the hell Robin and Nancy and Steve had going on.

They couldn’t just ignore it -- the town had been torn in half. While they were doing their best at helping Hawkins pick up the pieces, they knew what was the cause of it. None of them felt right leaving it alone, especially not now that the supergirl and the rest of the nightmare squad (as Eddie had taken to calling them) had returned to Hawkins. Still, Eddie hadn’t been filled in as much as he’d have liked.

Sitting across from Jonathan at Nancy’s house felt less strange than being in Nancy’s house at all. The silence sat between them like a wall, and Eddie drummed his fingers on the table. “So, uh.” He began, cocking his head to the side, studying Jonathan’s face. “How long have you been apart of the Scooby Gang?”

sleep has become a rare luxury for eleven since the mall . she’s not entirely sure why that is , but she’s entirely reluctant to let it be known . there was enough troubles for the byers already ( and it had HER NAME written all over it ) . so when the dark falls after they’ve pulled into motel on the road , she lies awake and listens to the ambient sound of will and joyce sleeping . the noise isn’t what she’s used to ; it’s not the same as hopper’s snores . their sounds are softer , gentler .

eventually she finds herself ill content to keep laying on the bed staring at the ceiling . instead the girl pads over to the couch and sits on its arm , legs hugged to her chest as she gazes out the window it sits by . there’s a road across from their room . and despite the late hour , all types of cars drive down the winding road into what eventually becomes all encompassing darkness . each time , she watches as the lights fade in and out of sight . it’s almost hypnotizing . 

not for the first time , she finds herself surprised by sudden shuffling behind her . it startles her , almost falling off her perch . but surely she catches herself . eleven looks back to see jonathan . the fast speed of her heart slows its pace .  ❛ sorry ... did i wake you up ? ❜ floats her voice in a shallow whisper .

i  can’t  even  drag  you  really.  i  mean  i   can   but  most  of  what  i’ve  got  to  say  about  this  is  generally  good.  it  all  makes  sense  now ,  you  see.  libras  are  like . . .  aesthetic  as  fuck  venus  rules  y’all  and  venus  is  beauty  and  shit.  so  pretty  things  are  your  forte.  and  i  mean  that  in  the  best  way.  like  y’all  are   great   with  aesthetics ,  designing ,  anything  to  do  with  a  form  of  beauty.  so  it  doesn’t  even  surprise  me  that  you  do  all  your  own  graphics  and  that  they’re  gorgeous.

the  fact  that  you  have  a  resource  blog  /  deviantart  just  coincides  with  libras  being  so  balanced  and  compromising  ( affectionate )  but  at  the  same  time  can  be  compromising  ( derogatory )  and  people  pleasing.  y’all  put  others  first  way  too  damn  much  just  like  us  virgos.  i  see  those  free  psds  when  you   could   be  asking  $$  for  them.  however ,  like  your  carrds  for  frankie  and  points  donation  set  up  was  an  example  of  using  that  as  a  good  thing  and  trying  to  restore  things  where  they  should  justly  be.  there’s  balance  in  it  all.  the  lil  symbol  for  libra  is  literally  scales ,  bro.  :|  but  again ,  imo  these  are  good  things!  

i  think  the  only  aspect  i  can  drag  libras  and  i  mean   drag  libras    for  is  idealizing  people  in  pursuit  of  romance.  and  obv ,  re :  you  specifically  i  have  no  idea  if  it  applies  but  i’m  gonna  take  a  gander  and  say  yes  but  it  might  also  just  apply  to  relationships  in  general  whether  romantic  or  platonic.  the  level  of  idealization  but  also  an  almost  hopeless  romantic  quality  to  libras  is  fucking  insane  and  i  think  it  all  comes  back  to  the  beauty.  the  idealization  is  the  beauty  you  want  to  see  as  complete  and  whole  truth.   again ,   that’s  an  aspect  i  can’t  speak  to   you  specifically   on.  but  then  if  you  look  at  the   “ emotionally  unavailable  air  sign ”   trope  i’m  wrong.  honestly  astrology  is  subjective   sometimes.   idgaf  what  anyone  tells  you  otherwise.

now  let’s  talk  about  that  scorpio  rising  because  same  boat  and  my  last  ex  was  too.  you  playing  jon  makes  absolute  sense  now  from  me  solely  watching  s1  but  knowing  dude’s  a  lil  weirdo  ( affectionate )  but  means  well.  plus  all  the  horror  inspired  elements  to  your  blog  and  verses.  like  there’s  just  something  so  chaotic  and  spooky  and  downright  weird  in  the  best  of  ways  about  scorpio  rising  people  and  scorpio  people  in  general  but  especially  the  rising.  

i  also  have  seen  this  in  every  person  i  know  plus  myself  with  scorpio  in  their  big  three :   we  cannot  be  pushed  around.   it’s  just  not  gonna  happen.  you  might  think  you’re  being  slick  but  you’re  not  and  we  see  it.  we  can  see  right  through  people  and  i  think  that’s  a  good  thing.  especially  in  yours  and  mines  where  our  sun  at  our  core  is  very  caring  and  sometimes  people  pleasing  af.  it  helps  weed  out  the  people  that  mean  to  take  advantage  of  us  and  sometimes  we  miss  it  but  best  bet  we  never  miss  it  again  unless  we   willfully   miss  it.
