One of the things that struck me about Joncon is how much he reminded me of Robert. They're both so miserable and the things they do in response to that misery only hurts the people they loved in a way that is completely antithetical to what we know Lyanna and Rhaegar wanted.

the reaction to young griff being introduced is like i understand why ppl would be annoyed its just i don't think pivoting theories or destroying how ppl want the story to go is a valid reason to hate on a character, i do think grrm is remixing the cat/robb dynamics with jon con and him, yes i think he's highkey doomed but i think having his character there is important to how dorne's plot is going to be moving around especially in king's landing
