A renewal of vows is something any loving couple does at least once or twice. That's why her and Kosaku never did.

But... for some reason she doesn't understand, the man she sees before her now is... he's the sort of man that would.

"Kosaku, dear..." She watches him intently, the same a cat would it's prey, as he moves and shifts under the covers of the bed. "Kosaku, I found our wedding tape! Would you like to come and... and watch it again?" Her entire body seems to lit aflame as she drags him to the T.V, and the claminess of his hands suggests the same for him.

She knows what they look like on the tape. Two people happy not because of the union, but the unification itself. It was never about her and Kosaku, it was always about the husband and wife. Still, as she sees the younger them recite their vows, it almost amazes her how stagnant yet changing their lives have been. She can't imagine being the one to have recited those words, and yet she can't imagine a world where she hadn't.

"We look...happier." Kosaku finally mumbles as they watch themselves eat cake, him leading a small spoonful to her mouth. "I remember being...really happy that day." He says it as if he's unsure, as if he thinks she'll disapprove of her husbands happiness. He isn't wholly wrong, the pang of jealousy enough to pain her.

"Back then..." She slowly starts, tracing Kosaku's palm with her much slimmer finger, "I wasn't as happy as I should've been." She admits, her hands climbing up to his arm. "I want... Kosaku, I've been feeling so happy...I want to renew our vows." Shinobu finally tells him, a blush overtaking her.

He's still for a moment, clearly thinking over her request.

"Shinobu, I was thinking the same thing."
