He was modest and low-key, with a workmanlike, no-nonsense attitude. He arrived, plugged in, and started playing.

The night before Oasis filmed the cover sleeve for the single D'You Know What I Mean?, Liam was playing everyone Love Me And Leave Me, the song he co-wrote for John Squire's new band Seahorses. It was Liam's first co-write, penned on a night out with John in 1996. Liam was clearly quite proud of it, playing and singing it to anyone who'd listen. For 4 and a half hours.
