June 2 is 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗮𝘆, which serves as a global initiative to raise awareness about extreme heat risks. Richard raises temps all by himself as Sgt John Porter in Strike Back with this sweaty pose that's bound to sizzle on screens wherever it appears. 🔥🥵

OTD in 2010, Chris Ryan's 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗸 was shown for the first time in the UK on Sky1. The six-part series starred Richard as British Special Forces operative John Porter, a man on a mission to redeem himself. On why he admires JP, Rich has said, "I wanted him to be the kind of bloke that I'd like to be, even with all the flaws. I admired the flaws in him and the tenacity to say, 'I made a mistake. I'm gonna take the consequences, but I'm gonna search out the reasons why it was a mistake ... and I can't rest until I do.'"

Celebrating 𝗘𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗗𝗮𝘆 this year in an unusual way with two chaRActers who find themselves (literally!) digging in the earth, one to bury bodies (John Porter, Strike Back) and another to uncover one (Adam Price, The Stranger). While both obviously get their hands dirty, I'd rather be giving a proper burial to strangers than discovering the corpse of my spouse in a shallow grave.
