see the funny thing about the logan movie is that it’s not even part of the mcu, the only reason it’s as good as it is is because kevin feige can’t get his greasy little hands on them. i don’t think legion is part of the mcu either. and previous dc movies can go choke, but the dceu has not whitewashed a single character as far as i’m concerned (and i sincerely hope it stays that way)
honestly, man of steel was amazing and it was so true to superman’s character. literally everyone who complained about him is stuck with the 70s version of superman, the flawless little golden boy who people blindly followed. zack’s superman is pretty true to a lot of the superman stories told during the 80s to early 00s but then people who literally know jack shit about superman will complain about how “un-superman like” cavill’s version is (mind you, a lot of these same people think the “normal” superman is boring)
and it really bothers me because there are so many properties from marvel that i fucking love (esp. the x men) but the mcu is a generic whitewashing mess that’s making me slowly hate marvel as a whole. like the mcu is being celebrated for being mediocre and people are completely shitting on the dceu and it’s ok if you don’t like it or even zack snyder but the amount of pure vitriol i see is fucking staggering
also i don’t fucking care for a black widow or scarlet witch movie. scarlett johannson seems to think she’s fucking asian and she’s got the acting range of a pot, and the mcu version of scarlet witch is a whitewashed mess. tbh the only live action marvel stuff i like rn would be daredevil (haven’t seen the other netflix shows) and legion looks pretty good as well

i agree completely and also martian manhunter. seriously i literally go in the tag to see some cool comments, meta posts, funny stuff, and generally just to share my excitement but literally every 5th post or so is like “i mean i’m excited for justice league but this is directed by hack snyder, i’m sure he’ll fuck up”, “it looks good but so did the trailers for all the other movies and we all know how those turned out”, “lol it still looks like shit the cgi is bad 0/10 marvel is better on your left dc haha”
and it’s like god, just shut the fuck up. keep that shit outta the fucking tag ffs, i literally do not give 2 shits about your fucking opinion and i will call your ass out for not knowing how to use the goddamn tags properly

legion is actually super fucking interesting, man. i love the story line. i never read the comics, but i know a decent amount about david haller (outside of the generic ‘IT’S XAVIER’S SON’ shit). and i really adore the acting in the show, especially. you should give it a shot. the season finale is this week on wednesday (eight episodes in total)
