Ok... another set of musings but I'm a huge Daniel Gillies fan so deal with it. The major thing that slays me about the season finale of Saving Hope is that Joel had finally embraced life. He had finally come to a place, where most women hope the men in their lives get to; were he was looking towards the future. Joel was ready. He wanted to be a dad. He wanted to marry Alex and instead of them giving us a season of wonderful, silly, Joel and Alex.... the writers bailed. They opted for safe. They opted for pedestrian. Here's the thing, I don't watch TV to see shit I can do and see in my every day life. I watch to see the extraordinary. I watch to witness the amazing love to could be and maybe is for a brief moment. The writers of Saving Hope missed the opportunity to give us that moment because they were "afraid the loss would be too much." They chickened out on giving us a chance to see Joel become a man and to see Alex witness that transformation. The cheated out on showing us, if only through TV, that giving your love and your heart to a man, who may be a diamond in the rough, can be worth it. They bailed on that because they didn't believe. And that is why I will not give them any more of my time. If the writers of a fictional show can't believe in the impossible, if they can't believe in the power of love, then I can't believe in them.

Omg I love Joel and Alex jalex they r my fav couple on saving hope and I really hope they do become a couple cuz they deserve a second chance!! Next week I hope that they don't ruin Joel and Alex already I want Alex to be conflicted yet go straight to Joel and help him after Charlie punches him. Plz give us more Joel and Alex kisses and next kiss Alex should kiss Joel first this time. Next week looks so good omg I love Alex and Joel
