Rest in peace Jock, he was my drinking buddy, my mentor and my oldest poetry comrade. We made friends in the early nineties and he forced me to be a poet, inspired me to be a writer, he taught me so much ... And even though I know he was very ill, I don't know how to write goodbye. He was a brilliant poet and a wildcard spirit, I could write, may he rest in peace, but we know he will be smoking and partying in the VIP bar in the sky with his friend Howard Marks now that's for sure....such a great loss to lose them both this week. My love and condolences to all family and many friends, to all the poets, renegades, wild hearts and punk rockers.
