Y'all my job has been so hectic for the past week and a half..............like if I make it through This in my first year at this company I can literally make it through anything lmaooooooooooo
today at the job i’m quitting next week, my assistant manager humiliated me in front of my boyfriend and coworkers. i wasn’t in a good mood already because i was tired and felt sick, and the morning had been pretty busy. i was naturally disoriented.
in my disoriented state, i had gotten confused and frustrated when someone misplaced food, and i didn’t see where they’d put it. i was admittedly mean and exasperated when one of the kitchen guys pointed out he’d already given me the food, and i replied to tell him i didn’t have it 3 times, only for someone to point it out in a place that it shouldn’t go.
my assistant manager then decided to jokingly taunt my boyfriend with a “hey, you should go buy sara some coffee because she doesn’t seem to be in a good mood today”, then chewed me out right there for being mean instead of waiting until she could talk to me in her office.
she had the nerve to ask why i started crying when she told me that other coworkers also think i’m mean, and that nobody else is saying anything because they don’t want to hurt my feelings. like. i’m just confused as to how someone in a management position can do something so unprofessional and even a little cruel.
