Well as a starter, I have a military au that is on semi hiatus because of a) lack of motivation and b) I kind of bsed my way through the beginning of it so I could get to the more exciting parts, but unfortunately I bsed so much that a good portion of the universe doesn’t correlate in the way I’d like it to.

But anyway, I’m probably going to rewrite it eventually so it flows a lot better. A bunch of key points I’m definitely going to go with are

The military in this universe has designated units for certain parts of missions they need

Asahi and Noya are MIA for nearly six months around the point where the newbies (primarily made up of Kindaichi, Kunimi, Kageyama, Hinata, Shibayama, and eventually Lev) first join their units

Yaku is a selective chooser for the Nekoma unit because their unit is so.. oddballish? They have a specific fighting style and they need a certain level of training before anyone can join them

Unfortunately Nekomata already had a rookie chosen for him to train, so he has to deal with Lev for who knows how long

Shibayama was the previous one he trained

Yachi is a worker for whoever the opposite side is that captures Asahi and Noya–I’m not sure if I want to keep it as Shiratorizawa or not, but as of right now I probably am

I could go on for longer on this AU but this would be lengthy af if I did

Another fic idea I have is my Aion au

Aion is one of my favorite games ever (and it’s free!!! Please try it if you have a decent enough computer!!! I say decent computer because, unfortunately, the graphics are advanced to the point of needing a good graphics card and such)But!!! Anyway, I love the lore of the game, it’s so well developed and I just had to make an au for it.

Some background info is that the world–Atreia–is split into two after a disaster known as the cataclysm occurred due to the Tower of Eternity (a v v important place) collapsed.

The two sides of the world eventually evolve into their own, adapting to the new environments. The two factions are known as the Asmodians and the Elyos.

The Asmodians live in the top half of the world, statistically having a mane (that tbh looks a whole lot like a tail) growing on their backs to keep them warm in the harsh atmosphere, pale skin, and eyes that glow red when excited (most of the time in combat)

The Elyos live in the lower half of the world where it’s all nice and warm. The Elyos are pretty much just like regular humans in our world.

The Balaur are another entirely separate faction living in Balaurea on the outskirts of Atreia that I’m not going to go any further into because I could probably list off so many things this post would be way too long.

Getting onto a little more exciting matters: Daevas.

Daevas were originally humans until some event in their life caused a hidden part of them to activate–leading to ascension. All daevas are chosen by the world’s god: Aion. Daevas are ethereal beings gifted with immortality and the opportunity to serve the Seraphim or Shedim lords. (Whichever ones they serve depends on which faction they are in). All daevas also have wings which allow them to fly depending on the level of aether (a power source) in the area.

There are 6 primary classes and 11 subclasses that daevas can be.

Warriors - subclasses gladiator and templar

Scouts - subclasses assassin and ranger

Mages - subclasses sorcerer and spiritmaster

Priests - subclasses chanter and cleric

Technists - subclasses gunslinger and aethertech

Muses - subclass songweaver

ANYWAY, ONTO THE HAIKYUU BABIES BEING IN THIS AU

I have already decided the classes of the mains in this au, as well as some non-mains.

Oikawa is an Elysian ranger who is actually an archdaeva (archdaevas are basically daevas on steroids) he has been alive since a few years after the cataclysm

Iwaizumi is an Elysian gladiator who is also an archdaeva. He has been alive 20 years less than Oikawa, but tbh with how old those two technically are they just count by century so they both just say they’re like 6000 years old or something

Kageyama is an Asmodian ranger who ascended a good 60 years before I plan to start the story, but he is basically a baby compared to all the other daevas

Hinata is an Elysian assassin who ascended around the same time as Kags

Daichi is an Elysian templar who is unknowingly extremely close to becoming an archdaeva. He’s about 5000 years old and was the first daeva Hinata met after he ascended

Suga is an Asmodian cleric that is an archdaeva. He actually lost track of how old he is and is constantly teased for it

I’m just gonna cut it off there because I could go on wayyyyyyy more, but this is gonna be a long-ass post no matter what. But!! Feel free to ask me about more characters for either au, I’m always willing to talk about these aus.

Iwaizumi hummed.“Iwa-chan.”No response.“Iwa-chan.” Iwaizumi kept reading his book.“Iwa-chaan,” Oikawa whined.Nope.“Iwaaaa-chaaaaan.”Not responding.“Iwa-chan.”Still not.After a few moments of complete silence, Iwaizumi held in a sigh of relief at the thought of Oikawa finally having given up, and with that he returned to - actually - reading his book.Iwaizumi felt Oikawa adjust in his lap, not thinking much of it until he felt something crawl underneath his shirt and skim lightly across his stomach. He knit his eyebrows together, wondering what the other was doing.He yelped when Oikawa’s fingers skimmed across his sides, nearly throwing the book onto the floor. Instead, he opted to glare down at him and resume to his reading.Or at least he would have if Oikawa didn’t do it for a second time, actually causing Iwaizumi to drop the book and attempt to push him off.“Oikawa-” Iwaizumi cut himself off when the other moved once again and attacked his sides with both hands, causing the immediate reaction of laughter.“Iwa-chan.” Oh God, “Are you,” Oikawa’s face drew into a devilish grin, “ticklish?”“N-no!” Iwaizumi cursed himself for stuttering, but there wasn’t much he could do when Oikawa was assaulting his sides.Oikawa laughed, “Your reaction tells me otherwise.”Iwaizumi couldn’t help the laughing fit he was drawn into from the abuse to his sides. He attempted to squirm out of Oikawa’s reach, but the brunet got him trapped beneath him without Iwaizumi knowing.“Okay! Okay! I give!” Iwaizumi put his hands up in surrender, letting a sigh of relief loose when Oikawa’s hands finally stopped, “What did you want?”Oikawa grinned, “I wanted a kiss,” he said like it was the most obvious thing in the world. Iwaizumi glared at him.Oikawa pouted once more, “What? Did I do something wrong?”All he got in response was a couch pillow to the face.

Iwaizumi stirred at the movement, but did not wake. He only buried his face further into Oikawa’s chest with a small sound of content. An action that made Oikawa’s heart swell in his chest and the blood rush up to his cheeks. He wished - yearned - for them to be able to stay like this forever. Just them, together, nothing coming between them and keeping them from being with each other.

But all good things must come to an end.Oikawa sighed at the sound of his phone going off, an alarm he set in order to wake himself up in case he wasn’t awake already. He started to move his arms from around Iwaizumi’s form and shuffled as best he could as to not wake him up as he got out of bed.Oikawa yelped, a hand grabbed his arm and pulled him back onto the bed, arms wrapped around him once again, sluggish, but strong.Oikawa looked at Iwaizumi’s head buried into shoulder this time rather than his chest. His arms stayed frozen in place by his sides, not knowing what to do.A few moments later, he finally snapped out of the surprise of the situation, speaking in a soft voice, “Iwa-chan, I nee-”“Please,” was all Iwaizumi said, “Please don’t leave, not yet.” He moved his head from Oikawa’s shoulder, it was only then that Oikawa realized his shirt was damp with the tears streaming from Iwaizumi’s eyes.“Iwa-”“Please.” He looked up at him in earnest, his voice came out broken and gravelly from sleep. It was all Oikawa needed in order to shut up, he rarely ever saw Iwaizumi so open and… Small.So Oikawa wrapped his arms around him and set his chin on top of Iwaizumi’s head, kissing his temple before staying like that. Minutes ticked by like seconds by the time Oikawa’s backup alarm sounded.Iwaizumi pulled away from Oikawa, sniffling but not crying anymore, “Sorry,” his voice was still gravelly from sleep.Oikawa chuckled, “If I knew you’d be like this I might’ve gotten up earlier so we’d have more time.” The glare he got in return could’ve killed a man. Or an army.“If you woke up any earlier I would’ve murdered you,” Iwaizumi grumbled wiping at his eyes. Oikawa grabbed his wrist and set it down on the bed before replacing it with his own and wiping at the tears with his thumb.“Who knew leaving for college would be so difficult,” Oikawa whispered.“Literally everyone,” Iwaizumi deadpanned.“No one ever warned me!”“Your mom kept telling you all week.”“She told you too!”Oikawa didn’t realize what Iwaizumi was doing until he was falling off of the bed with Iwaizumi staring down at him, amusement written on his face.“Mean Iwa-chan! Mean!”
