Dimitri cleared his throat, coming up behind Jo and tapping her shoulder. For such an imposing man, he could certainly be awkward. He felt a little pathetic, having come to her, but he didn’t know what else to do. It wasn’t like he could go to Alec about Lou; her friends were certainly his best bet. “Excuse me,” he said, smiling at her charmingly. “You’re friends with Eloise? Er, Lou, right?” He paused. “I met you at the market the other day.” 

“for you,” rowan said, offering jo a drink with her own in her opposite hand with a wide smile on her face. she seemed to be doing that a lot tonight; her cheeks were starting to hurt. “how are we feeling?” she asked, taking a sip of her own drink and looking around. “it’s almost weird, knowing that tomorrow this will no longer be our home.” she will now be a london resident, and jo a dc one. “i know you’re going to roll your eyes, but i might just miss it here.”// @joftw​

Rowan moved to sit beside Jo on her bed, placing her bag on the floor by the side of the frame and crossing her legs so that they pretzeled. “Did you want to eat lunch outside today?” she asked, looking up from her phone and at her friend. She smiled at her slightly. “I've finally got the urge to paint and I really wanted to do something with the Bohemian Garden.” // @joftw​

“Be honest with me,” she said, turning and showing off the black dress that she’d brought with her to go out in. She wasn’t particularly attached to it in any way, but she also wanted her friend’s opinion, and she knew that out of Lou and Jo, Jo was the one that was going to be brutally honest with her. And while they had had fun in New York, Rowan hadn’t really be in the mood to party like she usually did. “Is this okay? Or do you think I should try something else?” She licked her lips and pointed to the bottle of alcohol she’d gone out and gotten with Lou earlier on. “Can you pour me a shot?” she asked, giving her an encouraging smile. // @joftw​

Rowan was sitting on her bed, legs crisscrossed over one another as she stared down at the sketch pad in her lap. Since attending therapy, and after everything that had happened, she had decided to get back into art. But she was still struggling on what to draw. She was almost glad when she heard a now on her bedroom door, and she knew that it wasn’t any of her roommates, as none of them were there and they would have just walked in.
