when I was 7 years old I sat down on my bedroom floor and concentrated very hard because I needed to pick a favorite color. because obviously that's a very important thing to have when you're 7 years old and I never knew what to say when people asked and I kept having to make up a favorite color on the spot. and after an hour of careful mathematics I decided my favorite color MUST be blue because it didn't have too many 'gross' shades that I would be embarrassed to be associated with and also my bedroom was already painted blue and my eyes were already blue, which seemed convenient, and I wrote in my diary that I had 'solved' it. and nobody told me I was autistic for like a thousand years after that
