This is so vague though. I’ll try my best~
So hated the whole tradition of not seeing your fiancé before the wedding ceremony.
He hated that he had to be away from Soo for any minute of the day. It turned out that Soo had felt the exact same way about the whole thing as well. She had actually told him to just screw tradition. Who cares if it meant bad luck?
The second that he heard that he knew that he just had to wait, old wives tale or not, he would never risk Soo.
“No. we can’t risk it.” They were talking to each other with only a door to separate the two. He had his hand on the door, imagining that it was interlocked with her delicate fingers and not resting on a cold wooden door.
“It’s all superstition you know. Besides I hate how much this dress itches. I still don’t know how I feel about it. Chae Ryung and Woo Hee were more in love with it than I was.”
“You look stunning Soo-ah.”
“How do you even know? Wait can you see me from under this door or something?”
He laughed heartily. “No, I remember how you looked in the shop.”
“You saw only a glimpse of me before Baek Ah pulled you away to take care of other things.”
“I know. But that image of you in that dress will forever be ingrained in my memories.”
“Come on, don’t be so sappy, the guests haven’t even all arrived yet.” She was teasing him, but he heard the semblance of a smile in her voice and he beamed with joy.
“Speaking of the guests, should I go take care of them? They’re probably wondering where I’m at. Eun just texted me about all the rave gifts we’ve received already.”
He had turned to leave when Soo in the softest of whispers, called out to him.
“Did you need me to get you something Soo-ah?”
“I just wanted to say—thank you.” He heard a crack in her voice, but he wasn’t sure. No one was more resilient than she was.
“Who’s getting sappy now.” he wasn’t even teasing her at this point, he was just stating a fact.
“And Soo-ah?” he paused, “I’m just as grateful for you coming into my life as well.”
