please do not send them hate or harassment!! this is not a troll. this is a fellow jirai in a really dark place trying to get people to harass them so they feel like they have a reason to kill themselves. no what they are doing is not right but they are clearly not well.

if you are in the space to do so please fill their askbox with lots of love and support!!!!

but dont put your own mental state at risk, first and foremost take care of yourself!

Crying i'm so bad at social interactions

Most of the jirais I know moved to mastodon but I don't like mastodon because I can't customize it to my full abilities AND I have a FIVE HUNDRED CHARACTER LIMIT.

I cant be bothered to switch to mastodon or whatever it is ,,

it doesnt feel like home.

I get that jiraiblr is basically dying out , or at least it feels like it is , but going onto mastodon just feels wrong.

I guess ill make an account just in case but I cant be asked to actually learn how to use it when ive put in so much effort into tumblr.

Jiraidon was so fucking good for the first week

so these are some things I notice about the jirai communities in every social platform:

jiraitwt- questionable and can be toxic at times

jiraitok/jiraitt- toxic for no reason at all + “jiraimaxxers”

jiraiblr- has a report rapture every couple months + is like jiraisky and jiraitwt combined

jiraisky- pretty chill, I haven’t seen any drama on there + the nicest I know of

jiraigram/jirai instagram- i haven’t seen much of jiraigram but they seem nice

jiraibook/jirai facebook- same thing for insta, I feel like they’re less toxic but I’ve heard of jiraitt ppl bringing toxicity there.

jirai pinterest- are also chill, but at times i see a lot of discourse about “jirai = jirai kei” or “dressing jirai kei but not part of the jirai kei lifestyle” 

jiraidon- only really exists because of the early 2026 jirai rapture, consists of jiraiblr users and is not that toxic at all

jiraitube/jirai youtube- either really interesting and pretty blog/explanatory videos or straight up AI voice shorts content talking about “the dark side of jirai kei”/“japan’s darkest aesthetic”

let me know if i got anything wrong or missed a jirai community, ill fix it!! this is just some observations I made!
