charisma starter for @jinrirk
it wasn't that haseul really cared about jinri ― no, she hardly knew the other girl; the only thing she really knew was that her year-mate wore nothing but name-brand clothing that haseul couldn't even look at without immediately going into debt. and it wasn't like jinri couldn't handle herself ― haseul was sure she could, the other seemed like a pretty no-nonsense person. no, it had everything to do with the fact that the man she seemed to be having a problem with thought it was appropriate to start yelling in the middle of the café haseul had been studying in. she'd noticed the two having a quite heated conversation when she'd sat down, but it had escalated to the point that haseul could hear the man over her headphones, and she was starting to get irritated. letting out a long sigh, she ripped her headphones out and turned her attention toward the two.
while she hadn't been eavesdropping, they'd been loud enough for haseul to catch some of their conversation ― and to know that the man was wrong. “ just admit you're wrong. it's not that hard. ” haseul pointed out. “ or is your fragile ego too big to admit that there may be the slightest possibility of that being the case ? ” she asked, her face not breaking from its uninterested expression. at the male's shocked expression, haseul decided to turn her attention to the girl. “ jinri-ssi ― could we talk about the assignment we got today ? i was just getting started on it and wondered about your thoughts. professor jeon said to discuss it with others on our own time ― no time like the present, yeah ? ” haseul asked, raising a brow slightly at the other girl, hoping she got the message. they didn't have any assignment ― haseul wasn't even positive they had a class together. but, she'd seen jinri on campus enough to know that they went to the same school. therefore, haseul was willing to help ― at least this time. after all, jinri didn't exactly look pleased to be dealing with the male, and haseul was tired of listening to them argue.
