I watched the German dub of the Itadori family flashback and...I can't get over Jin calling Kaorijaku his girlfriend...

He literally says "If this is about my girlfriend, then I'm leaving, father." It gives their whole interaction a whole different vibe. Sounds kinda like after Kaori died an unexpected and horrible death (that's how Wasuke describes it here), Jin moved on way too quickly with this new girlfriend and now they even have a child together.

"Is this about my girlfriend?" "Yes, Jin, this is about your rebound girlfriend nobody likes."

Or like he makes a very clear difference between Kaori and Kenjaku, by calling Kenjaku his girlfriend. They have a child together, but they aren't married. Kaori remains his wife.

Love the voice actors in this as well. Jin sounds just as creepy as in Japanese if not more so. He seems like he's threatening Wasuke at times. "It would be nice if you didn't talk about her like that in front of Yuuji. 🗡️🙂 You never know what babies remember. 🗡️🙂"

And Kaorijaku sounds very similar to how Geto!Kenjaku talks. It has that same dark smoothness and you can very clearly tell by the tone that they are being entirely sarcastic. The gas is lit and at full power. Their voice is a bit deeper than the Jp version and sounds more mature too. MILF I could totally imagine them telling baby Yuuji gruesome fairy tales in that very same tone. Like that is 100% Kenjaku, no denying it and they are having the time of their life playing wife girlfriend with Jin.
