the new Fujii Kaze album feels like my new morning mood tbh
But at the same time I can also see myself riding home from work listening to it while the sun is setting down as I cross busy streets

Japanese song of the day. Something I love about Japanese music is the amateur, garage vibe. I don't care about perfect vocals, in fact imperfect has this charm.
I've been really getting into SHISHAMO recently, which is essentially this thing I do where I listen to all of their albums and force myself to love them. This happens a lot where I have some time or need something new to get through the day and then oops I'm hyperfixated on this artist/band!
Anyways- I discovered SHISHAMO through Nakaniwano Shyoujyotachi and that song blew me away, God it means so much to me, and then I also started listening to Shinyano Radio and that song is also really good but that was all for a bit. And of course I've been curious about their other music since just as with most things I can't just sit down and do it. I just have to be in the moment like "Hm yup I wanna do this now- Which happened yesterday in the 8 hour car trip (yay).
SHISHAMO's songs just bring me this weird innate joy that I don't feel often listening to music. There is just something about their songs that send chills up my spine, give me a rush, or just make me want to bop my head around and smile. I was trying to think if any other songs or bands gave me that kind of feeling, and the only one I could think of was TWRP lol. The only way I can test this is if I'll cry when someone randomly brings it up in public and I start crying for some reason (real story with TWRP, got a signed record out of it!! thanks potter.)
Okay yeah that's all my thoughts for right now haha might be back later.
band: No Buses
I just discovered this band a little while ago and needless to say... I'm obsessed XD
link to one of my fav songs by them :)

春 (Haru/Spring) // 黒岩あすか (Asuka Kuroiwa)
Nice to have a female lead band that doesn’t fall (too deeply) into a chatmonchy or yonige pattern. Song composition can be less Japanese formulaic but still at least shows potential to break from the boring mold.
