Nostalgia and novelty come together on Jon Klages’ “God Bless the Columbia House Record Club.”
A rim-shot-driven mosey through childhood memories of his first experience being ripped off while building vinyl collection, “God Bless ... ” finds Klages recalling the albums - by Jimi Hendrix, Joni Mitchell, Three Dog Night, Bobbie Gentry, Laura Nyro, T. Rex and Don Rickles - he got at 10 for a penny.
