Santa appears in his chair and smiles. He picks up the first letter and reads.
āOh this one is from Sid. It reads, āYo Santa! Why donāt you ever come to my house? Iāve been nice all year, stupid.āā¦ā JJ read and gave a deadpan look at the camera. āThatās why, kiddo. Every time I gave you a toy you blow it up and destroy them with such cruelty. Change your attitude, then letās talk. And be nice to your sister, thatās all I ask. Jeezā¦kids these days.ā
He takes his head and reads the next one, āAw this one is from Georgia Romanoff. It reads, āOh my gosh Santa hi! Can I get a toy sword for Christmas? My brother wants more books for his collection, magical fantasy books. Please! Oh! Are your elves real or fake? Ohhh! Are you friends with the tooth fairy too?ā Aw, sure kiddo I can do definitely do that. As for my Elves, they definitely real. Actually theyāre basically like my spies on the inside and report back to me. And yeah, Iām friends with the other guys.ā

Tooth fairy flies around playing with the stuffed animals and squeals, āAh! These are so adorable. I only give out money to kids, not toys. JJ can we trade?ā
Ji-Hoon Frost rolls his eyes playing with a ball of snow, āThatās not how it works, Lia. You give out cash, and Jolly JJ gives out presents while working one night a year. Donāt you just work almost every week and collect memories of the children, to remind them of their childhood experiences when needed?ā
āYeah, I mean my job is special! No one can fly faster than a buzzing bee than me and do it without anyone noticing.ā
āPff, I noticeā¦ā
āShut up! All you do is throw snowballs and whatever!ā
āI bring a little fun to the children. Ever heard of a snow day?ā
Liane grumbled frustrated, āSee! I wanna bring fun to kids as well, I wanna gift them toys! But your idiotic logic doesnāt let me!ā Without a second later, her temper flared up and she burst the stuffed animal as its face began to rise in flames. āOops.ā
JJ opened his mouth to say something but before he could say anything, Ji-Hoon winked and with a flick of his wrist froze the entire stuffed animal before it can get out of hand.
āThatās why you donāt bring toys to children.ā Ji Hoon remarked smirking, āRight, JJ?ā
He just nodded chuckling, āYeah. But youāre both amazing at your roles, remember that.ā

JJ sat up in his chair remembering that time chuckling, āI love those guys. Even if my elves might get a bit intimidated by them, but itās all good fun. Tooth has a fire but itās amazing, because itās means she doesnāt always stop when sheās down and keeps going. Ji is our trusted friend here, creating a chill atmosphere and keeping everyone in check at the same time.ā
He picks up another letter and reads it, āAw, it says āDear Santa, my name is Astrid. I want a pet cat for Christmas and new journals, please and thank you. I am curious, do you have help with your Christmas Eve night? Like your elves?ā Aw, thank you sweetheart. Iāll see what I can do about your wish this year. As for your question, I do have some help from an old palā¦ā

Santa sneaks into the house with Ethan, also known as Sandman, wanting to make sure no one was awake as he pulled out the presents from the stack. A woman with short hair, named Luna, was asleep on the couch. Ethan helped him with a soft smile excitedly as he hoped Riley, Bella and the other kids loved the toys. The living room tree was lit brightly and shiny with all the colors ornaments.
āThis is gonna be amazing!ā He whispered yelled grinning then his eyes widened at the dog staring at him. He gulped, āShit..ā
āEthan whatās wrongā¦?ā JJ started as his words faded away seeing the large dog, blinking, āā¦oh.ā
āUhā¦wh-what do we have to do.? He is very big and fluffy and uhā¦mad!ā
āGet him to fall asleepā¦ā
It was like the light bulb went off as he remembered his power set. He waved his fingers throwing dusty golden glowing sand at the large dogs faceāwell, he was more like a wolfāas he gave a loopy dreamy smile. Images of the galaxy danced above his head as he flopped onto the floor happily, asleep and snoring.
Ethan threw the throw blanket over his shoulder chuckling softly, āAw, heās so adorable now that heās asleep.ā
JJ pulled out a present with a name on it and looked at the wolf. He chuckled, āSo thatās Rick.ā

Santa smiled fondly at the memory and sighed softly.
āYeah, Ethanās a kind soul and very respectful figure. I couldnāt ask for better than him and our friends.ā He added generously, āHe keeps the good dreams alive and the bad ones away. Tooth is lucky to have him, they make quite a pair. They both agree that the whole leaving out cookies for Santa shouldnāt be made, I need a bigger snack than just two cookies. Maybe chicken wings or something? Oh! Chips and guacamole?ā
JJ then adds, āI also have my reindeer that accompanies meā¦ā

Santa trying to see in the clouds and realize he is moving so freaking slow.
āRudolph! I see nothing!ā He yelled out.
Rudolph, who was a bit older now, sass him, āWho care Santa? I donāt think my nose is bright enough.ā
āYou better hope itās bright enough, when I call your father to whoop your behind!ā
āYouāre killing my vibe, manā¦ā
āRudolfo, shut up or Iāll throw you in the back with Cupid.ā

They was going well, presents were being delivered with the help from, Ethan, Sandman and Mother Time, Petra, before they headed off to the North Pole to celebrate the holiday. But they were big help!
Especially with Petra being able to stop time along the route to bigger destinations and allow them more access to get the job doneāwithout rushing against the clock.
So that just left Santa, JJ was flying calmly, on the phone with Mrs. Claus about family dinner and whoās coming over. Then he noticed all the reindeer blabbering and hushing one another.
āIāll have to call you back honeyā¦ā He said hang up the phone and turned to his reindeer and smiled. āOkay, whatās the chitchatting about guys?ā
All the reindeer spoke under their breath and the words didnāt come out right away.
āDasher.ā He said calmly. āCare to tell me, what happened?ā
Dasher huffed knowingly, at being the most loyal and honest reindeer as he said, āRudolph is talking about you againā¦ā
Blitzen added, āYup sir, heās being ridiculous and clearly hasnāt done this job long..ā
JJ rolled his eyes and sometimes wished he could call one of ghosts of Christmas, Cole, to set Rudolph straight.
JJ sighed, āBuddy, what did you say?ā
Rudolph grumbled, āJust that you need to be more tactful when entering peopleās home.ā
JJ blinked and scoffed with a deadpan expression. He has done this long enough and is pretty sure that his methods are working.
āI must be getting old and foolish with age, but Rudolph, reminds me.ā JJ remarked with a hint of sass, āDo you still get bullied by the other reindeer?ā
āWell, sometimes, yeah-ā Rudolph replied shrugging as he flies.
āGood.ā

āYeah, so, Rudolph is grounded for the rest of the week and wonāt be flying around the base for a whileā¦ā JJ replied biting down on a cookie.
He glance down at the other laters deciding to read them later and smile softly looking around the room. He watched the folks stumble across the room and the sound of people talking in the distance.
He looks up at the camera once more.
āAllow me to let you in on a little secret folks.ā JJ said chuckling, āAs much as everyone thinks that Iām the top dog here at the North Pole, itās really Mrs. Claus.ā
āYeah, sure I do the trip every year, answer the letters and get things sorted out.ā He explained softly. āBut in reality? Oh my goodness, sheās the real boss! She makes sure things are in order, everyone knows what their role is and so much more. And donāt mess with her. Last person to mess with Elizabeth got a candy cane, where the sun donāt shineā¦ā
He winked at the camera.
JJ chuckled and shrugged, āAnyways, yeah. Thatās all the time I have for you guys today. Iāll be reading more later on. Bye!ā
With the camera shut off.

I gotta lot of ocs so imma just focus on Ji-hoon since he's currently the one with the biggest regrets. Five years isn't as good as 15 for him to truly go back and change his life for the better, but 5 years would give him the chance to warn himself and a couple of his friends that they're gonna get into trouble too big to walk out of ok. He might also tell himself to prepare to run because there's no way he can keep up the act he's put on.

Ji-hoon: loves his family so much that he willingly joined the Brotherhood to spare them shame after he caused a huge accident as a teenager that wouldāve landed him in prison.His family love him, but they also donāt mention him to anyone.
Yueliang: Loves and respects her parentsāsheās an only childāand obeys them to the point. Her mother has a habit of trying to force her into relationships because she wants whatās best for Yueliang, but she also wonāt push too much because she still wants her daughter to be happy. Yueliangās father is a bit of an absent-minded professor type, but he loves her in his own way.
Ndiaye: Is a much loved child by both her parents. Her father isĀ Japanese, so behaves quiteĀ formally with her sometimes, but thenĀ he also spoils her and they have their secrets no one else is allowed to know about. Her mother is Senegalese and much more open with expressing her feelings. She brings out the more affectionate side in both Ndiaye and her husband. Theyāre all very warm and loving and Ndiayeās very self-confident thanks to them.
Anna: Loved her parents a lot, but then her father was killed and her mother remarried. The douchebag step-father abused her and when her motherĀ eventually found out, the guy murdered her. It turned out he also killed Annaās fatherāhis friendābecause he wanted Annaās mother. She lived with an uncle, who disowned her when she came out.Ā
Joo-won: Is a Brotherhood orphan. His family died in a car accident and the Brotherhood picked him out as special due to his unique talents and sent him to live at Sakyamuniāthe repurposed temple they use to train their operatives. Heās too young to really remember his parents or sister, but he thinks they were happy.
Baracus: Has living relatives despite being part of the Brotherhood. His father is a retired Brotherhood operative and sentĀ him to Sakyamuni to carry on the family tradition. If he had brothers instead of sisters they wouldāve gone, too. Heās ambivalent about his father and only really cares whether he beats his kill count score and not if they have a good relationship. He likes his sisters, although, their petty chattering gets on his nerves. His mother named him after her favourite A Team character. She left when he was born, or so his father says.
Nyima: has a very straightforward gait. No nonsense, no purposeful hip swinging, luring gazes to her as she passes deal. But, she's got a confidence in herself that does tend to get her a second look from interested parties.
Ghenha: grumpy plod with a hint of murderous intent best describes it. Like someone just told her they took a shit in her azelea patch and expected a laugh.
Ji-hoon: alert, studied relaxation with an undercurrent of anxiety.
Yueliang: another no nonsense, straightforward gait. She's a former soldier, so has excellent posture and moves economically, without wasting a single calorie's worth of energy.
