Ok so chapter 2 of the JFAU thing is focused on Beef and what he's doing, he finds Etho around 3/4th of the way through the chapter. Chapter 2 has been 3rd person POV. Chapter 1 was 2nd person (the you is Etho). Should I:
1- keep chapter 2 fully 3rd person and switch back to 2nd in the next Etho-centric chapter
2- make it 2nd person as soon as Etho wakes up (Etho is still the you)
3- secret 3rd option

What was the purpose of split a soul in two halfs to make it reincarnate as two different people? Who the soul was before being the Stan Twins? First of all, let me explain this; The Stan Twins of the Jerk Ford AU are split souls. This is a phenomenon that can be better explained by @nowimjustastranger who coined this term and whose AU often uses it.
Split souls are just as they sound; two people, one soul. Jerk Ford and Stanley would call it 'twinstinct', but that's actually a seperate thing, a psychic thing they inherited from their moms side of the family.
With Jerk Ford and Teacher Stan being so wildly different from their canon counterparts, the way I keep track of their traits is that I take one completely unrelated character and split it in half, giving some traits to Jerk Ford, some traits to Stan, and the rest they share in equal measure. Because one trait being more prominent in one twin does not mean the other one does not possess it at all, it just means it's less pronounced / present.
What are these traits?

If Jerk Ford received any mysterious object he doesn't remember collecting himself, asking for, or receiving directly from a person he knows, he would throw it on the ground and start shooting it because he thinks it's a trap.
This is not the first time he's reacted to an unsolicited gift in a violently paranoid way.
Unless if it's Post Portal Era and a trusted source can confirm the legitimacy of the token - in that case, he'd give it Stanley since one of his hobbies is Numismatics; he likes to study and collect old/weird coins and other currencies.
JFAU Etho background
He fell into a frozen lake as a teen while running from a bunch of mobs
Wasn’t the best swimmer but oldschool mobs were incredibly op so he chose the water
Severe frostbite on his limbs, ears, lips, and lungs
Runs severely cold because of this
He can live without the redstone air for a few days/hours but will have shortness of breath and slowly experience hypothermia til it spreads and kills him
Feels like a cold corpse to the touch, which freaks new people out so he wears the long sleeves, mask and socks (also to hide the nasty frostbite marks)
Cannot sleep for long because of nightmares and his body wakes him up so he doesn’t die (cold victims sleep and never wake up)
The “catfish” pulled him out of the lake and sent a light in the sky
Bdubs, Doc, and Beef found him from separate directions
