i actually kind of liked the luc and peyton endgame but just to be messy. leyton divorce. lucas steps out on PEYTON and she's like, oh, oh, this is how lindsey and brooke felt, huh. and then she takes their kid, gets majority custody (we'll be nice and give luc visitation!!) and ends up in savannah, georgia because she got a job offer there as an artist, and part of her goes with bated breath wondering if jake would even still be there because that seems impossible to her. and he is. and they rekindle while peyton gets to know jenny again as an older kid.

So... Off Campus gave us the equivalents of Nathan & Haley and Lucas & Brooke. Now I want the equivalent of Jake & Peyton.

I'm one of the biggest jeyton shippers ever, and I will defend them til my final days, but every time I see someone reduce peyton's likability to her relationship with jake and say that she's only likable with him, I feel a raging headache coming on, like don't piss me off

okay, what if i wanted to write adult!jeyton, letting lucas/peyton die out when she lets him go in the gym, lucas and linday get married, and peyton takes a page out of brooke's book of life hacks and throws herself into work to heal her broken heart. what if she grows red bedroom records to work between nyc and tree hill? what if she signs jake jagielski, who has stable partial custody now? what if they fall in love outside of her trauma?
