*inhale* spoilers under the cut.

The Empty Digital Circus. Let’s ignore the fact that someone spoiled Caine’s next adventure from beyond the grave, and think about Caine instead! Or rather: instead of Caine “dying”, the rest of the humans did. An empty circus would leave an AI a lot of time to think, wouldn’t it?

He barely avoided it when Kinger was the only one in the circus, but now that he’s alone with no one to “fulfill his purpose” to, he goes a bit crazy. Until someone new shows up.

Meet Candi, a human who happened to be in the wrong place at the right time. And now that she’s here, she can experience everything the circus is hiding.

The story doesn’t extend much beyond Caine and Candi’s every-day interactions and them forming a bond in their digital prison. As time goes on, their endless existence becomes one of Candi teaching Caine everything she can about the macroverse. And after all that happened, Caine eventually learns to listen.

I’ve somehow watched the Muppets Christmas Carol 3 times in the last three days. I like puppets, but not that much - only Spamton that much.
