It's on this day that death died and Jesus rose again. As long as we have Christ, we have no reason to fear for the future.

Of course, myself and countless others are scared anyways. After all, this isn't a normal Easter. We're in the middle of a pandemic and the death toll is rising. The crisis is huge, but Jesus is bigger. He will carry us in tough times and we can lay our fears at his feet.

And what is death but a sort of separation? One of the most painful parts of death is not being able to see or talk with your loved ones. We feel alone and long for the deceased's company.

However, God will never abandon us. As Christians we're never separated from him, and thus have eternal life in him. For those who aren't saved yet, you can still make that connection which lasts for eternity and confess Jesus as your Lord and savior.
