I'm getting back into Let's Plays for fun and some silliness, but that's normal. Want to see the choices I make in a deck building journey against a maniacal, old GM? It begins.
Sometimes you're the hammer. Other times you're the nail. No matter how much I catch up, I'm always feeling too far behind. "One day..."
I should mention that up until yesterday, I had been dealing with manic symptoms that made it progressively difficult to function and focus on anything without my brain loudly freaking out internally.
Anxiety, pressured speech, irrational sense of fear, racing thoughts, way too much energy, very little sleep, altered perception, the works. I could feel my manic state steadily climbing to where I felt like I was losing control of my body from how often my body would twitch or feel like I was going to do something that wasn't me.
Thankfully, I was able to see my psychiatrist on short notice this past work week because I had a couple of dose increases on two pills I take that she prescribed. So, once I could feel the positive effects, my body felt like it was finally able to let go, but that relief of tension gave me a manic crash. Imagine a sugar high, and then the tiring crash, but cranked to the max at the end of last Saturday.
I now feel much better rested and medicated and less likely to go from hypomanic to completely manic. It's the worst rollercoaster track climb anyone can imagine. Last time I got this bad 7 years ago, I had to get checked into the hospital, feeling like my energy was what caused the lights to flicker there a couple of times.
This past month or so was, I think, better and worse than last time. Better prepared, but worse symptoms. I can't tell you how the anxiety felt other than an increased want to die to make the ungodly anxiety stop.
Mental health is important but also the world's hardest balancing act. Full night of sleep and I still feel like I'm winding down. Just... holy shit.
A good friend of mine has been dealing with toxicity in his family. He is looking to move out, but he needs financial help to move out of Vermont to where he wants to go. He hasn't received much in donations though. We understand if you can't help, but even if you're able to send a small amount, anything counts for a lot. His GoFundMe is linked below. Thank you always for anything you can do. I'm hoping with a lot of care that he'll be free, so to speak.

How have you been lately?
Hi! I've been a little all over because I've been looking for work and going back to college while putting my creative projects back in motion. Just a little busy. XD
If you sneak Maddy's stuff into Docs in a Box again.
I will go Crazy π©·π«Άβ¨
New opportunity to refine character and art skills with Maddy? It's given me ideas for sure here that I can apply to other projects.
This was honestly the push I needed to give a character in the open, who barely started but, a chance again. I'm actually surprised he made as much of an impact as he did to be still so remembered.
Surprise! It's my birthday today! :D I'm weird and don't normally ask for gifts but they wouldn't go unloved.
