Here’s a short description of her: Beatriz is a serious and intelligent character, though she often carries a sense of weariness. She is simply a hardworking woman with unfulfilled dreams, someone who never expected much beyond her routine. By chance—or perhaps misfortune—she ended up attracting the attention of Pierrot.
He is completely in love with her, but she has not yet accepted his feelings. It isn’t just that she finds it strange how quickly he fell for her, seemingly only because she showed him kindness. Beatriz also struggles with her own history: she has always been unlucky in love and believes she isn’t meant for it. This makes her hesitant, doubtful, and almost resistant to the idea that someone could truly care for her.
