He’s not brooding, or lovesick, or noble; he’s the fucking shark from Jaws. In which Charley gets taken captive by Jerry, and makes a deal for survival.

Halloween Horror Heartthrobs: Jerry Dandrige, Fright Night (1985)
Portrayed By: Chris Sarandon
"you need to have faith for this to work on me, Mr. Vincent."
Chris Sarandon brings style and charm to the role of vampire-next-door Jerry Dandrige. Jerry's the new guy in town and his presence is known almost immediately, arriving in air of mystery, buying the old house next door to Charley Brewster. His dance seduction of Amy is one of the best dance scenes in film (and my personal favourite), as they glide across the dance floor with eyes only for each other, everyone else lost to them. Jerry balances strength, darkness, cunning, and charisma, and makes for one of the best vampires on screen.
