I don’t believe that every action and tweet of Chris is PR. But I noticed that when he starts to tweet sth and someone claps back, he shuts his mouth. That happened when he started to tweet about the electoral college. As soon as the actor from Supernatural started to rebut Chris’s arguments, Chris stopped talking about it. So it gives the impression that he doesn’t step up for his own words. If he got criticism for talking about Trump, he would stop. His behaviour on SM indicates that. That makes many question how much he means what he writes.

The amount of articles using his tweets to call him Captain America in real life,  spreading  what some are saying on SM, looks like his PR team is taking advantage of that. And the guy who says he hates the PR game plays it all the time. Some will say that actors have to that to keep working. How many actors give a shit to that and manage to keep working? A lot.

The amount of videos for sick kids and charity that he made on a few days after the backlash because of Jenny made people question all the things that he did for charity.

The first comment about Salma not being good to introduce to his mom was years ago, I agree. But he made another while promoting the first Avengers movie, that Salma would be good to hold his shield. On 2012. Not many years ago. Same actress. Sexist again. Someone can say that Salma brought that to herself for playing the sexy latina. But how many american actresses did used their bodies and beauty on work and he doesn’t talk about them the same way? Not saying that he should do that. It is pretty wrong. But for me, it’s clear that he makes difference. Chris is on the business for almost 20 years. He should’ve known better.

Something really important. On his first interviews about Cap, Chris kept the speech that he wished to be good as him. The speech changed for making comparisons and talking about things in common and calling Cap his alter-ego. He brought the comparison to himself, when it’s good for him. So, he takes advantage from that, when he lets and stimulate the confusion between them. And that is not good for an actor. Puts pressure on him that is not necessary and attaches him to a character, which can be bad to get other acting jobs. But he wants the good part of it. He will have to take the bad part when his actions indicates that he is not that good, but a normal human  being that can fuck up sometimes. He tried to build an image that doesn’t match with the reality. And the truth? We don’t have to be Cap to be against cheating and shady acts to hide the truth. He could have just kep living his life and dating Jenny and keeping it private and wait and nobody would be hunting them on twitter and here. 

People are bitter because he made them believe that he is something he is not and they feel betrayed for that.
