So i’m coding a game’s dialogue system right now. And the current thing I’m doing is configuring character animations and positions and such, and writing some fully formatted example dialogue of characters in the game to demonstrate how to use the system I’ve made.
Because the creator of epithet erased brendan blaber apocalypse released literally 100% of the sprites from the show on his patreon, and I need placeholder sprites for characters in a lot of different expressions, I decided to sub to his patreon for a bit and use the epithet sprites as placeholders until I get full sprite art from the character portrait assets member of the dev team.
Which leads to situations like this

(Also thank you to @jelloapocalypse for putting epithet’s sprites on your patreon, it’s super helpful for devs like me who don’t want to spend weeks trawling the internet for poorly-synced placeholders with fake png backgrounds and truly fucking no varied poses)

have i told you guys the popular jelloapocolypse used to follow me and reblog my fanart of his show on here on my old blog and the second i stopped drawing fanart for his show he unfollowed me ?
because that was funny.
Since I've been enjoying jello apocalypse's dr2 streams and I've got some friends who are fond of it, I decided to watch epithet erased and I noticed something I find quite funny
The biggest flaws I noticed while watching epithet erased, (not particularly funny bits getting in the way of otherwise compelling material and characters, inconsistent and unclear rulesets making it hard to get invested in conflict, and the artists clear fetish seeping into the work) are the exact same issues that jello constantly complains about with regard to danganronpa
To be clear, I do quite enjoy epithet erased and his DR streams, I just find the overlap funny
I like Mr. Puzzles, because he does sound like Loop, which makes sense, since his voice actor did voice Loop in his own playthrough of the game.
He's got such a great voice! Great at singing as well.
