i thought that checo not having to really fight anyone (and getting an easy 2° place in the wdc) this season meant he would keep his seat cause he is not a reliability. but now he is saying max stole his fastest lap and that he needs to clear things up with the team? checo you are playing with fire 😬
i'm just saying but if checo really had that fucking dawg in him, he would have gone for fastest lap regardless of the fact he already had it, regardless of whether or not max was going for it, regardless of the threat of driving that car straight into the fucking ground. the fact that he didn't i mean.... all bark no bite, one might say lmao
Christian said that Checo DID go for fastest lap at the end and messed up so he aborted it. He's mad at himself and is trying to take it out on the team. smh

Literally half the grid went for fastest lap (my announcer said something like 8 drivers got their fastest laps the final lap)…I genuinely do not understand why Checo didn’t go for it? That is baffling to me. (Maybe he did go for it and just didn’t get it? Is there anywhere to check final lap times? Bc that would make more sense to me)
checo's final lap was a 1:33:691 whereas max's fastest lap was a 1:31:906 so i really don't think checo was pushing...i think when he asked his race engineer in lap 48 who had the fastest lap, and he replied checo had it, checo stupidly felt comfortable and thought he had it in the bag, but he should know by now that max will always try his hardest to not leave anything on the table and so he can't be pissed at the team or max for anything.....if he was a true racer, he still would have pushed
also if you are interested in data and lap times in the future, i love this site - you can pick 2 different drivers and compare all their lap times and stuff. they haven't updated it yet for jeddah but they should do soon as it doesn't take them long but yeah I'll probably take another look at max and checo's laps when that site does get updated!
no but checo thinking that he has more of a shot so he starts saying things about how he's mad about how he's treated is actually really good for the Agenda because checo cannot compete with max over a season so his complaining just looks silly
right exactly. the longer things stay relatively close between them, the more checo's ego will grow, and the more checo's ego grows, the more of a liability he becomes to a team that's a known hater of liabilities. rip to this man 🙏
