Y'all, I think I might've found the best video essay analyzing Jean
Don't let the words in the thumbnail get you wrong, this is a fantastic analysis on what makes Jean tick and how he fits so well into the story.
It especially touches upon his connections and parallels to other characters. There's discussions of how he interacts with EMA, Springles, Reiner, Marlowe, Floch, and of course, Marco. Something for the whole gang.
It's just a very succinct summary of Jean's development throughout the story. I love it.
