It will truly take me some time to process the passing of professor #ArdieBryant at #CaliforniaStateUniversityLosAngeles. He was not only an educator, mentor, and inspiration in the entertainment world, but most of all, Ardie was a huge part of my life for over 12 years. I am blessed and grateful to have crossed paths with the legendary treasure, the innovator of modern #jazztap. Ardie was proclaimed as "The Ambassador of #Tap" by #BillRobinson (Bill "Bojangles" Robinson). "I took 2 steps in order for you to take 1. When you have to get out there, you have to take care of business." ~Ardie Bryant. After graduating from #CSULA in 2006, I moved to NYC with an opportunity to pursue my music and dance career. I would speak to Ardie and his beautiful wife, #AnneBryant at least once every week. Ardie and Anne, "The beautiful couple," I would always tell their son, @mrsupportfriend, saw me grow and pursue my dreams. I can be at peace today knowing that they are reunited and are always in my thoughts. Always remember, "Simplicity with taste," he would say to me. I hope Ardie will be proud knowing that I follow some of the biggest lessons in life he has taught me on a daily basis. The Galestian family, Edwin, Medick, Arthur and my fiancé, Alex send you lots of love. There is so much I can say after I reflect on everything that I have experienced with you, but I will never forget the legacy you left behind for the world! We love the Bryant family! 🙏🏻 R.I.P Ardie Bryant.
