Tloas follows in ttpd’s footsteps by being nothing more than shallow aesthetics Taylor thought looked cool without her understanding the context and meanings behind those styles, sounds, outfits, figures and themes. It feels like she searched up ‘showgirl aesthetic’ on Pinterest and decided to slap that onto an album that was just more of what she’s already written about over and over for years, because she likes the sexy outfits and glamorous vibes without a hint of depth or subversion. Disappointing.
