People in the fandom are always talking about how Alfred shows his affection to Bruce through sarcasm and insults and how Alfred uses such ways to try and convince him not to be Batman but I never see people talk about the QUEEN of this way of communication which is Leslie

She hates Bruce's mission she hates every choice he's made I don't think she's ever said a kind word to him in his life but they love each other so much and she was practically his mom as a kid, in some versions she is his foster mom

And like just look at Leslie watching Bruce do his playboy thing

Every frame on this page she was making this exact face getting angrier and angrier it was hilarious

But watching Jason, brand new to the family, figure out this dynamic between them, listening to them go at each other in a way he's never heard Bruce and Alfred go at each other, and having to realize that it's the normal way these two talk to each other and that this is how they express their affection was HILARIOUS

There was a part where it was like

Jason: "...Soooo this is normal for you two?"

Bruce, completely oblivious to how not normal it is: "Huh? Yeah, that's just Leslie for you"

Jason, realizing why Bruce is Like This: "I see"

And then after they kept talking about it for a bit Jason said: "You know you two are a lot alike"

Bruce, completely oblivious to the fact that he is Like This: "If we are, then we're both too stubborn to admit it"
