I recently learned what could happen to you if you quit Klonopin or other benzodiazepines cold turkey, and it's bad.

So, I have a lot of thoughts swirling around my head about The Talamasca that I haven't had time to think through due to either needing to rewatch or just not having time, but a brief list of topics:

What I think Jaspar means when he says there aren't enough vampires in a time when we've been told on IwtV(Lestat) that there's a "Great Conversion" happening, how it relates to how he was raised/or lived in a mixed human/vampire coven and

The possible emotional ramifications the ending could have on him (but may not if the writers aren't good enough to go there) .

Who the vampire who turned Doris may have been (unless it was said; i didn't catch it. Did they say his name?)

The difference between how the Talamasca as an organization works in the books and the screwed up mess of rogue agents it's being to be portrayed as on TV and why.

Jaspar is a lower hive enforcer who's will-they-won't-they relationship with his partner comes down on the won't side when he gets recruited into the inquisitoon and sent off to a daemon world to recover some archeotech.

The daemon world in question is Penumbra, a dream of a city in metal and glass where time and space are only rough approximations of reality. Everything out of sight is constantly changing, loose track of anything or anyone and they are gone forever.

When he gets separated from the rest of his team of acolytes Jaspar latches on desperately to the first people he encounters, a girl named Nikota and her uncle, Karger. They help him find food and in exchange he protects them from the warp monsters and deamons roaming the streets, Nikota in particular is quick to adopt him as a father figure and he adores her in return.

So when he is reunited with the rest of his team and has to continue with his original mission, he takes them with him. It is not easy escorting civilians through hell, and they are changed by the experience - another of the hazards of the place is mutation. Nikota's eyes turn black and rats fill her skin, and Jaspar...

Jaspar finds everything he eats turns to ash, and develops an insatiable hunger for human flesh.

There's a lot more to his story, but the important thing is that he never gives his new family any reason to think he might be a danger to them, and they stick by him in return. He's a monster but a very polite, lawful one, and he loves his family very very much. Even when they have left the warp, the three of them still never go far from each other.

Alrighty, let's start with the really easy ones, the ones I already made cards for before this ask...

For Zarunpel, her Mount would obviously be her mount, Velumbra. She's a magical panther from Urborg that lives within Zarunpel's shadow when she isn't stalking around in the real world, and was granted to her as a token of friendship by the Soul of Windgrace after she did him a service helping his people and him personally with an off-plane errand, during the Dominaria United period.

For Jaspar, something less specific but I do have this design for a mount for him. His magic allows him to call upon the echoes of life past imbued into parts of creatures for various magical effects. This is him using a discarded antler of some form of elk to summon a spirit version of it to carry him around. Since antlers are shed periodically and don't stay with an animal for their whole life, their echoes are fainter than what he may obtain from most bones or other parts. As a result, they stop working with his magic after some time or intense use like this. Thankfully, finding "fresh" antlers to restock is also pretty easy.

That's it for the cards I already have figured out (at least for the list given).

Dancing-Hands doesn't use a mount very often, but in the past he's been seen on the back of an origami horse animated by his magic when he first arrived on Amonkhet's desert, a few years back at this point.

Dolores and Ranek are less likely to have mounts these days; Dolores's wings mean flight is more often a faster option, and flying mounts that can keep up are a hassle. Ranek travels in his Stormplate, as much mech as it is armor, and even if he supplemented that with other forms of transport, it'd more likely be a vehicle of some sort than a mount.

Joe Sugg would be okay being in love with a boy, if it didn't mean being in love with Caspar Lee.
