@JasonLimon is certainly a master of a playfully macabre, early 20th century vintage aesthetic but in the grand scheme of things, he's "only" been at it since 2007. Depending on your age, you may either think that's FOREVER, or not that long at all. ⁣ ⁣ Traces of his graphic design skills (from his pre-painting days) are more than evident in the typographical flourishes that he integrates in his canvases, plus all of his storytelling elements are always so impeccably balanced.⁣ ⁣ More than anything, you get the sense that his skeleton muses are carpe diem-ing the heck out of every opportunity that comes there way, which is undeniably charming⁣ ⁣ Jason painted this acrylic image, called “Born of Paint”, in 2020.⁣ ...⁣ posted on Instagram - https://instagr.am/p/CJi1oWUjDql/
