Group picture of almost all of the dragons from Broken Horizon! I tried a bunch of different style things for this it was so fun to draw that it took legit willpower to put it down as done x)

My god, it's been so long since I drew Fewjar as animals....

For context: I drew this band I liked as animals back in the day and they even saw it and liked it (weird haha) and the characters kinda developed over the years and now it's been a while and I gave them a redesign to match my current Atrea species system :)

They looked like this back then (Few is now Fenn, Jar is now Jarek, Mogi is still Mogi):

These guys are still just an excuse to draw real people as animals but I'm trying to give them a bit of plot!!

The lore is: Alavari (bird species) massively dominate the music industry in Atrea and as a non-Alavar you basically have no chance of ever making a career in music. There were some one-hit-wonders by non-Alavari over time but it's like fighting windmills.

Fenn is the protagonist here, trying to make his childhood dream come true to actually make a music career. Him and Jarek are childhood friends and in there together, sharing the dream but Fenn is the more ambitious of the two. Mogi joined later, not sure how to connect him to the others yet but it'll come to me sometime.

I was supposed to properly make Kung Jin but erm, my brain was like you wanna draw the black dragon. So I did. These r the general members (other than the nameless cannon fodder in the background of stuff) they’re probably higher ranking than the guys they have watching other people, running their bs about.

With my au I really wanted to isolate the stories more sort of? Not everyone needs to travel the realms all the time. Some of them have at least once but they don’t have access like that.

As a general overview- these guys are like big time criminals. Think like corrupt Gotham pd when the falcones were running it. They smuggle weapons, kill for hire, drugs. It makes quick money? They did it.

Drawing a random mk character every day until i finish the series roster day 13 - Jarek

Day 13! Okay so i honest to god was hoping that Jarek wouldn’t be until abit later in the series just because i thought it’d be funny if he of all characters was who i got left with by the end. Alas he’s here just under the 2 week mark.

Anywho’s, Jarek is yet another mk clone- being a direct ripoff of Kano in all senses of the word aside from design. As a result many people dont really like the character, myself included. However i feel as though everyone in the mk scene knows Jarek for one thing and one thing only… his ending. Iykyk.
